Heaton

The large window to the West behind the organ was crafted by an English glass painter Clement Heaton (1861–1940), who lived in Neuchâtel and later in the USA.

The work was commissioned in 1914 as the conclusion of extensive renovations 1900–1912. He produced these bright glasses personally using the technique of medieval masters. Because of the distance to the beholder, he did not use figural motifs with the exception of four angels.
